He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Shane Slaughter and Justin Vandiver Slaughter; his grandchildren, Lindsey and Alyssa; his brothers, Frankie Slaughter (Elaine), Dan Slaughter (Kittye), Jerry Slaughter (Cathy) and Sam Slaughter (Gail); and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Slaughter.
