Willine Barnet Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willine Barnet of Moreland, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Willine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Willine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. Adams and Era Roberts Adams; her husband Jimmie Barnet; and her sisters, Opal Adams, Eunice Scarbrough, Jessie Dodson, Christine McDuffey and Elizabeth Perkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Barnet and Rita Barnet. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hillcrest Chapel (1 Bullsboro Dr, Newnan, GA 30263). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the College Park Cemetery (3600 Adams St, Atlanta, GA 30337).
