He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Leverett and Mamie Estelle Moore Leverett; his wife Billie Sue Stricklin Leverett; his grandson Joshua Livingston Bailey; and his great grandchild Charleston Kate Gasses.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie Bailey Parkerson of Greenville and Linda Lee Gasses (Cy Gasses) of Greenville; his grandchildren, James Leverett Bailey, William Zachary Bailey, Anna Gasses Coleman (Aaron), Rachel Gasses Williford (Cody) and Art Gasses (Kelli); and his great grandchildren, Sophia Coleman, Ruby Williford and Griffin Gasses.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenville Baptist Church.
