It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada Whitlock (Moreland, Georgia), born in Porterdale, Georgia, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lige Whitfield Alexander and Cora Lee Alexander; her husbands, James Garner, Sr. and Aubrey Lee Whitlock; her daughter Debra Ann Carroll; and her siblings, Grady Alexander, Gladys Moore and Sidney Alexander.

She is survived by: her son James Garner (Alexis); her grandchildren, Christie Waddell (Chris), Keith Carroll (Brandy) and Elizabeth Garner Davison (Ashley Davison); her great grandchildren, T. J., Elijah, Samuel, Shelby, Katie, Kayla, Brantley and Harrison; and her siblings, Tony Alexander and Ruby Owens.
