She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy B. Cannon and Elleott Cook Cannon; her husband Marvin B. Merritt; her son Terry C. Cannon; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Cannon and Shirley Cannon.
She is survived by: her brothers, James R. Cannon, Joel H. Cannon and J. Patrick Cannon; and her nieces and nephews, Suzanne Arthur, Fehl Cannon, Deborah Manning (Randy), Kim Little (Woodrow), Keith Merritt (Jennifer) and Terri Bennett.
