It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lallie Watkins of Montrose, Georgia, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her close friend Emma Taylor; her siblings, Nina Holloway, Katherine Higgins, Gladys Thomas, William Mack, Argene Mack, Sr., Roosevelt Mack, Ira Lee Mack and Robert Thomas; and her children, Ivelene Stephens and Harry McNear.
She is survived by: her husband T. Wesley Watkins of Montrose, Georgia; her children, Rutha Carswell of Montrose, Georgia, Irene Stephens of South Carolina and Levoy McNear of Oklahoma; her stepchildren, Delores Ford of Columbus, Georgia, Freddie (Anna) of Dudley, Georgia, Ulysses (Varian) of Fort Valley, Georgia, Wesley Watkins (Lucille) of Atlanta, Georgia and Tommy Lee McNair of Tampa, Florida; her grandchildren, Mikitta Jackson, Komekia Farrar of Atlanta, Eboni Wright (Chris) of Dudley and Mack Carswell of Dublin, Georgia; her sister Jessie Turner; and her sister-in-law Thelma Mack of Montrose, Georgia. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and eighteen step-great grandchildren.
