He was predeceased by: his brothers, Harry Irvin Powell and Billy Joe Powell of Laurens County. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rawlins Powell; his children, Charlie Cullen "Tripp" Powell (Madison) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Darcy Emerson Hayes (Grady) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Emerson Margaret Powell and Garrett Cullen Powell of San Diego; his child Killian Grady Hayes; and his nephew Joey Powell (Candi) of Dudley.
