It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Bonita Tanner of Monticello, Georgia, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. A. Durward Kesler and Alowe Hitchcock Kesler; her husband Mell Jordan Tanner, Jr.; and her brother Walter Durward Kesler. She is survived by: her children, Bonita Kaye Tanner of Saint Simons Island and Mell Jordan Tanner, III (J.); her daughter-in-law Tiffany Tanner of Madison; her grandsons, Nathaniel Jordan Tanner and Benjamin Duggan Tanner; and her sister-in-law Susan T. Kesler of Kennesaw. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
