He is survived by: his children, Michael Franklin Jr. of Chesapeake, Virginia, Kassie Kesterson (Kayla) of Del Rio, Logan Franklin of Woodstock, Layla Franklin of Woodstock, Shariff and Hicks of Smyrna, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jaelah, Josiah and Eli; and his brothers, Greg and Chris Franklin.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Monroe Memorial Gardens (Forsyth, GA 31029).
