He is survived by: his children, Richard Hammett of Monticello and Angela Churchwell of Stone Mountain; his brother Wayne Hammett; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Hammett of Auburn, Linda Dillon of Auburn, June, Myron Hoophaugh of Auburn, Margie, Dennis Clay of Dacula, Freda Blackburn of Auburn, Beverly and Gary. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous other family & friends.
