With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen M. Gooby of Monticello, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Gooby; and her parents, Ivan Odell and Helen Odell. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Grace Gooby) and Kenneth (Mary Gooby); and her grandchildren, Stacy, Alan Sturhann, Stephen, Laurie Gooby, Christopher and Corey Korba. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (677 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to St. Jude or Wounded Warriors.
