She is survived by: her husband Bobby Dean; her children, Patti L. Welch, Mario Avery (Diana), Maria Stancil (Preston), Darcus Briley, Sojourner T. Briley (Vernette) and Feltus "Malcolm" Briley, Jr.; her stepdaughters, Kelly Richardson (Todd) and Tracey-Briley Samadi (Mohand); and her siblings, Dorothy Tuggle, Charles Avery, Clark Avery, Herbert Avery, Ralph Avery, Ruby Avery, Artis Avery and Helen Avery. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
