She is survived by: her husband Larry Thurman; her children, Antoinette Denson, Sherveca Head (Patrick), Lanetra Stone and Orthea Stone; her grandchildren, Demondrez, Arlaycha, Kobe, Odalyus, Oriayha, Odell and Bryna; her great grandchildren, Corrin and Aria; her siblings, Willie Mae Barkley (John), Joan Ellis, Margaret Gilmore, Lorraine Pittman, Jacqueline Smith, Ethel Jones and Enrickie Jackson; her sister-in-law Diane Marks; her aunt Beatrice Sanders; her friend Mary Jean Standifer; and her goddaughter Marlie.
