It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Mae Stone Goolsby of Monticello, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Stone, Sr. and Estella Price Stone; her husband Grover Lee Goolsby, Sr.; her children, Grover Lee Goolsby, Jr., Jerry Louis Tripp and Hattie Mae Goolsby; and her siblings, Linus Stone, Francis Wilson Stone, J. C. Price, Fluellen Stone Morris, Dorothy Stone Lewis, Leaman Price Parks, Gladys Price Kelly and Barbara Stone Benton Tripp.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie David Goolsby of Monticello, GA., Dolores Goolsby of Monticello, GA. and Carolyn L. Goolsby of Monticello, GA.; and her siblings, Charlie Stone, Jr. (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, FL. and Bertha Benton Stone Crawford (McArthur) of Monticello, GA.. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
