He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Blanche and William Shephard Johnson, Jr.; his wife Eria Odom of Macon County; his children, Marilyn Grimes, Louis Johnson, Mazarena Allen (Charles), Carolyn Isreal (Carl) of Montezuma, Georgia and Carroll Johnson (Stephanie) of Warner Robins, Georgia; his siblings, Minnie Johnson of Milwaukee and James Johnson of Chicago, Illinois; his stepbrothers, Leroy James and Lynmore James (Faye) of Montezuma, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Bertha James of Montezuma, Georgia. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
