He is survived by: his brother Bobby Smith; his wife Monica Jackson Clay; his children, Amelia Hall of Anderson, Georgia of Anderson, Deja Clay of Anderson, Diamond Clay of Anderson, Myeshia Lloyd (Michael) of Anderson and Charron Carter of Anderson; his siblings, Francene Clay of Anderson, Indiana and Travis Clay of Anderson, Indiana; and his parents-in-law, Sam Milton of Anderson, Bernice Jackson of Detroit, Gwendolyn Jackson of Detroit, Millie Johnson of Detroit, Mildred Murray of Detroit, Beatrice Hall (Jesse) of Detroit, Carl Jackson (Sharon) of Detroit and Julia Synagogue (Glenn) of California. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
