He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodolph McLendon and Mary McLendon; and his brother Gerald Allen McLendon. He is survived by: his daughter Melanie McLendon Morrison (Jeff); his wife Harriet Hunter of Cairo, Georgia.; his grandson Hunter; and his siblings, Gloria McLendon Wurst (Jimmy), Sandra McLendon Perdomo (Robert), Steve McLendon (Sharon) and Ann Barfield McLendon. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
