She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Layfield and Mattie Mae Hines Layfield; her husband Gene Miller; her former husband Johnnie Layfield; her children, James Ralph Layfield and Evie Bartlett; her siblings, Jeanette Kirksey, Frances Hobbs, Herbert Layfield and H. L. Layfield; and her son-in-law Billy Bartlett.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, William Thomas Bartlett (Candis) of Gray and Sandra Lynn Goodwin of Montezuma, Georgia; and her siblings, Sammie Layfield of Ellaville, Shirley Pollock of Cordele and Gloria Price (Frank) of Okeechobee, Florida.
