He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Grizzard (Nevels); his parents, William H Grizzard and Edna Johnson Grizzard; and his siblings, Jayne Grizzard Wellberg, Howard Lamar Grizzard and Barbara Grizzard Robinson.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendy; his son-in-law Donald Phillips of Dublin, Ireland; his children, Daniel Grizzard and Tarayn; his son-in-law David Fairlie of Decatur; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Devan, McKenzie, Ryan, Matilda, Josephine and Carolina; his brothers, Larry Grizzard of Honanker, Virginia and Albert; his sister-in-law Pat Grizzard of Tennessee; and his sisters, Joyce (Kenneth Robinson) and Teresa Gail (Craig Dagenhart).
