He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James "Troy" and Betty "Leona" Moon; his wife Sara Armistead Moon; his daughters, Holly (Michael Boss), Charlotte Ellis (Shannon Duck) and Kelli (Walter Chambers); his grandchildren, Tiffanie Broach, John Platt, Jr., Brittanie Hardman, Derick Platt, Lindsey Queen, Chris Platt, Hunter Bentley, Brady and Bo Boss; and his great grandchildren, Bristol Hardman, Bailey Broach, Brianne Hardman, Bentley Queen, Addison and Zoey Platt.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private viewing and graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9th.
