He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Orell and Alice Gertrude McCart (Biggers); and his sisters, Leona (Roy "Lou" Lackey) and Helen (Robert Stephens). He is survived by: his wife Jean McCart of Monroe; and his children, Paul McCart of Loganville, Pam McCart of Auburn, Diana Summerford and Jan Turner of Monroe. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
