He is survived by: his wife Linda Stanley Wheeler; his children, Bradley Wheeler Kirsch (Scott) of Chapel Hill, NC, John Douglass Wheeler (Mary Susan) of Atlanta and Mary Wheeler Jackson (Molly); his grandchildren, Molly Elizabeth Kirsch, Hugh Wheeler Kirsch, Jane Winifred Wheeler, John Douglass Wheeler, Jr., Elizabeth Dasher Wheeler, Joseph Nowell Jackson and John Bradley Jackson; and his sister Marjorie Wheeler Barnes (Molly) of Atlanta.
