She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gordon and Jewell Tomlinson King; her son William H. "Buddy" Nix; her brother Raymond King; and her grandson Clayton Rast.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Robert Busby; her children, Cindy Nix Hamilton (Robert), Donna Murray Nix and Perry "Shane" Nix; and her brother Gene King. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
