She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Milligan, Sr. and Lily Vashti Jones; her husband John Henry Smith; her son Randall John Smith; and her siblings, J. C. Milligan, Jr. and Doris Freeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna; her son-in-law Randall Whitsel of Monroe; her granddaughter Candace; her grandson-in-law Jon Scoggins of Monroe; and her sisters-in-law, Runell Ward Milligan and Christine Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
