It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Dempsey (Monroe, Georgia), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dempsey and Eleanor Dempsey; and his siblings, Joan Flatt (Howard), Patricia Farrington (Tom), Dian Rizzo (Joe) and Larry Dempsey (Linda).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Peters Dempsey; his children, Gregory S. Dempsey, Chris Dempsey, Eleanor, Josh Knight and Patrick Dempsey; his siblings, Nella Porter (Ronnie), Melodie McGee (Mel) of New York and Jack Dempsey of California; and his grandchildren, Connor, Cade and Cullen Knight.
Due to the current pandemic, a small graveside service will be held for immediate family on Sunday, May 17th by Meadows Funeral Home.
