He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Head and Millie Leamon Harrison Head; and his wife Orene Perkins Head. He is survived by: his son David Head; his daughter-in-law Patricia Head of Monroe; his daughter Millie Head Shelnutt of Monroe; his grandchildren, Daniel Head and Haley Shelnutt Johns; and his great grandchildren, Kayleigh Head, Brittlynn Head, Skye Nash, Marley Head, Noah Johns and Madison Johns.
