Peggy McKibben Swicegood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy McKibben Swicegood (Monroe, Georgia), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Butler and Mildred Butler; her son Russ McKibben (Sue); her brother Frank Butler (Zoe); her husband Tom Swicegood of Asheboro, NC; her children, Rick McKibben (Jamie), Theresa Currie (Ken) and Ben Swicegood (Jessica); her grandchildren, Rick McKibben (Sheena), Stacy Lanier (Andrew), Hannah Merrell (Chris), Taylor Currie, Kenzie Hernandez (Isaias), Emily Currie, Austin Currie and Kali McKibben; and her brother Jim Butler (Joanne). She was also cherished by 8 great grandchildren.
Due to covid, there will not be a celebration of life for the public.
In lieu of flowers, we would love gifts to be given to the Susan G Komen organization in her honor.
