He was predeceased by: his parents, Dixie Garner and Catherine Garner Payne; his brothers, Gene Garner and Johnny Garner; his niece Jeannie Garner; and his nephew Curt Lynch.
He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Garner Henderson, Dixie Ann Christian (Ray), James Garner and Mack Garner (Patsy); his sister-in-law Phyllis Garner; and his nieces and nephews, Craig Henderson, Greg Henderson, Phil Garner, Nicholas Lynch, Deanna Grayson, Jona Cardell and Brittany Godfrey.
