She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mitchell and Nannie Lou Jenkins Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Spivey of Monroe; her daughters-in-law, Brian, Heather Spivey of Athens, Michael and Emily Spivey of Jefferson; her grandchild Olivia Grace Spivey; her siblings-in-law, Jean Mitchell of Monroe, Alan Sims of Monroe and Kay Sims of Monroe; and also, Linda and Wayne Johnson of Social Circle. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
