He is survived by: his wife Tavana Cannon Brown of Monroe; his daughters, Candice Jewell Brown of Atlanta and Natalie (Jeremy Shumate); his sisters, Glenda Oden of Mt. Olive, AL, Jan (Terry Jones) and Sheryl (Michael Hill); and his grandchildren, Macie Jane Shumate and Jeremiah Cooper Shumate.
