She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Wilcox Whitmire and James Aaron Whitmire. She is survived by: her children, Joe G. Diaz (Barbara), Glenda Kaye Deignan (Robert) and Linda Faye Lee; her granddaughter Amber Renee Diaz Riley (John Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Lillian McKenzie Riley and William "Liam" Reid Riley.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel (1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park (724 Hogan Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
