He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Lafayette and Mary Louise Williams, Jr. (Morris); and his sisters, Rosetta Gunsalus, Myrtice Holland and Naomi Braswell.
He is survived by: his significant other Linda Laverne Williams (Kelly); his children, Lamar, Jean Williams, Miriam, Steve Nelson, Mary and Rob King; his grandchildren, Matthew, Abbie Williams, Jonathan Williams, Katie, Sullivan Vickery, Samuel Williams, Joshua, Halie Nelson, Meredith, Robert Ford, Caleb, Katey King, Amber King, Megan and Nick Lankford; and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Tristan Williams, Easton, Carter Vickery, Gatlin, Wynona King, Baker, Hagen Nelson, Brooks Ford and Hazel Lankford.
