She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Raymond Moon and Marian Odum Moon; her husband Charles Lewis Shumate; her daughters, Yvette Shumate Adams and Sonya Cook; her siblings, Brenda Studdard (Jerry), Glenn Moon and Ricky Moon; and her grandchildren, Daniel Cook, Chase Adams, Lauren Kirk and Whitney Todd. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
