She is survived by: her son Dr. John; her daughter-in-law Andrea Carter of Monroe; her daughters, Candace Orta of Monroe and Kelley; her son-in-law Marc Astore of Herndon, VA; and her grandchildren, Ashley (Jeff Blackstone), Luke Carter of Monroe, Whitney (Mark Spain), Lane Carter of Monroe, Phillip (Brittany Matthews), Maggie (Sam Haskell) and Clayton Astore of Herndon, VA. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
