She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Davis and Meldrid Meeks Davis; her husband William Bruce Peyton; her siblings, Jerome Davis, Jeff Davis, Dan Davis and Robbin Chitwood; her son-in-law Stevie Caudell; and her brother-in-law Ed Garrison.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Caudell, Marcia, Burnie Walker, Gwen Whitehead and Sherry Tara; her siblings, Phil (Glenda Davis), Dwayne (Melissa Davis), Mazell Garrison and Melody Wilson; and her brother-in-law Doug Chitwood. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Chapel (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531).
