He was predeceased by: his parents, John Davis and Mamie Pauline Davis; his wife Brenda Anthony Davis; and his siblings, Charles Lee Davis "Butch" and Mildred Joyce Davis.

He is survived by: his sons, Bryan Davis (Pam) of Jefferson, GA, Michael Davis (Crista) of West End, NC and Patrick Davis (Tara) of Monroe, GA; his grandchildren, Jacob Davis, Noah Davis, Nathan Davis (Brittany), Nolan Davis, Matthew Davis (Cheyenne), Madison Davis, Samantha, Dakota Byrd, Brie, Parker Massey, Abby Greenway and Kara Greenway; his great grandchildren, Owen, Asher, Ellie Davis, Caleb Byrd and Baby Davis; and his siblings, Robert Davis, Ronnie and Bette Durham.
