He was predeceased by: his parents, Unis Widener Griffith and John Lewis Griffith; his wife Pallie Janie Hood Griffith; his daughters, Cathy Griffith and Jana Griffith; and his siblings, Allen Griffith, Donald Griffith and Tina Griffith.
He is survived by: his son Jeff Griffith (Jennifer).
