He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Williams Whitley and Arthur Whitley; and his former wife Patricia Whitley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Lou" Whitley of Monroe; his sons, Mark (Ginger Whitley) and Ken (Jobeth Akins); his brother Harry; his sister-in-law Linda Whitley of El Paso, TX; his grandchildren, Haley, Matthew McDonald of Dacula, GA, Micah, Hailey Whitley of Eagle, CO, Chancey Whitley of Monroe, Kinnon Akins of Ripley, MS and Benjamin Akins of Ripley, MS; and his great grandchildren, Molly Grace McDonald, Charlotte Anne McDonald and Baker Whitley.
