He is survived by: his parents, Art Newell and Marcia Hewitt Newell of Struthers, OH; his children, Rick Newell (Lizzie) of Monroe, Matthew Newell of Monroe, Jenna Newell of Winder and Michele Parker (Gene) of Winder; his brothers, Doug Newell of Hubbard, OH, John Newell (Lisa) of Key West, FL, Brian Newell of Cumming and Tim Newell (Noreen) of Waxhaw, NC; his sister-in-law Barbara Newell of Lawrenceville; his sisters, Diane Newell-Repasky of Stow, OH and Debbie Vaughn (Martin) of Ashland City, TN; and his grandchildren, J. J., Taylor, Devin, Chase of Bri, D. J., Layney, Maddy and Marley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
