It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Phillip Meissner of Monroe, Georgia, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Meissner (Hansen) and George Meissner Sr.; and his siblings, Marion, Thomas and John Meissner.
He is survived by: his wife Davette (Dzikowski); his daughter Andrea (Ken Pickens) of Sugar Valley, GA; his grandchildren, Alex, Nicholas, Matthew Robinson, Amanda, Kerrie and James Pickens; his daughter Erika (Sam Swett) of Covington, LA; his grandchildren, Samantha and Adam; his great grandchildren, Lilliana and Bryan Robinson of Lilburn, GA; his brother George Meissner (Kirsten) of Branson, MO.; and his grandchildren, Jim and Davette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and their children and grandchildren.
