He is survived by: his wife Joyce Howard; his children, Eric Howard of Monroe, Justin Howard (Christina) of Walnut Grove and Michelle Whitley (Scott) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Whitney Shelton, Morgan Howard, Reese Howard, Christopher Gordon, Alaina Gordon and Andrew Howard; his niece Jinger McElhannon; and also Tommy Fountain.
