She was predeceased by: her husband John Benefield; her sons, Bobby Benefield and Johnny Benefield; her parents, Fred Coker and Wilma Coker; and her siblings, Fred Coker, Doris Fichel, Louise Stewart, Willie Mae Hunton and Robert B. Coker.
She is survived by: her sister Kathyrn Hart of Monroe, GA; and her grandchildren, Buster Benefield, Robert Benefield, Kim Tribby and John Benefield. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
