She was predeceased by: her husband Forrest Sellers; her parents, R. D. Holcombe and Nora Bell Holcombe; her sisters, Joyce VanHorn and Ramona Morgan; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph and Lillian Sellers.
She is survived by: her children, Dineen (Buz Shubert) and Denny (Tracey Sellers); her grandchildren, Haley Crawford (Justin), Casey Shubert (Kelsi), Summer Forbes (Tyler), Savannah Evans, Sydney Sellers, Chloe Evans and Riley Shubert; her great grandchildren, Kamden Crawford, Walker J Crawford, Emmy Gray Shubert and Haynes Crawford; her sister Dawn; and her siblings-in-law, Donnie Lee, Martha and James Hewitt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens (699 American Legion Rd NE, Conyers, GA 30012).
Emily Jean Holcombe Sellers of Monroe, formerly of Conyers, loving known to most as Mama Jean, died on Friday, April 11, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
