It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Smith Jr. of Monroe, Georgia, who passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sadie Carter Smith; and his son Mylan Smith. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Church of Monroe, Carol Wallis of Monroe and Melvin; and his daughter-in-law Shonda Smith of Auburn. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
