She was predeceased by: her husband William Albert Gibson, Jr.; her daughter Dale Gibson Cook; and her grandchildren, Jamie Boynton and Christopher Wiles. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Wiles (Marty) of Tyrone and Linda Watkins (Brian) of Monroe; her grandchildren, David Cook (April), Jason Boynton (Stacy), Kelly Simmons (Adam) and Michael Watkins (Sandii); and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Beau, Cody, Jesika, Alexa, Kenzie, Kaiden and Liam.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to Sargent Baptist Church, 467 Sargent Main St, Newnan, GA 30263.
