He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Grady Phillips and Estelle Ray Phillips; his wife Irene Allgood Phillips; and his siblings, Horace, Lila, Mary Willie, Felton and Jake.
He is survived by: his daughter Jan; his son-in-law David Tyner of Hull; his grandchildren, Wade Tyner (Jaclyn) of Benson, NC, Andrew Tyner (Andy) of Lake Burton and Marion Tyner (Mimi) of Clayton Ga; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Oliver, Laylah, Caroline, Violet, James, Elizabeth, Samantha Tyner of Benson, NC and Holly Evansof Athens; his siblings, Nette Phillips Yancey of Loganville and Robert Phillips (Barbara) of Ellenwood; his brother-in-law Johnny Allgood (Lana) of Jersey; and also, Donald and Due. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald leaves behind two siblings, Nette Phillips Yancey of Loganville and Robert (Barbara) Phillips of Ellenwood and brother in law Johnny (Lana) Allgood of Jersey. He leaves numerous nieces and nephews who love their Uncle Donald. Due to the pandemic of 2020 the family asks that safety be paramount in Donald's home going service. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
