With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deacon Jerry F. Connell (Monroe, Georgia), born in Saint Marys, Georgia, who passed away on November 3, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Evelyn; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his wife Peggy of Monroe, GA; his children, Catherine Forsch (Tim) of Sioux Falls, SD, Cindy Palmer (Hayne) of Monroe, GA, Cecelia Smith of Hampton, NH and Cronan Connell (Theresa) of Monroe, GA; and his grandchildren, Jason Forsch, Lauren Forsch of Sioux Falls, SD, Luke Palmer, Joseph Palmer, Hannah Palmer of Monroe, GA, Adam Smith (Elise) of Tucson, AZ, Alex Smith (Kayce) of Alpharetta, GA, Patrick Connell (Katie) of Loganville and Elizabeth Connell (Ricardo Suarez) of Sacramento, CA. He is also survived by eight greatgrandchildren; and many friends and family.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral Mass and interment will be private.
For the last 15 years, Jerry has been the primary caregiver for Peggy who has Alzheimer's disease.
