He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Teal Tolbert and John Torry Tolbert, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bolton Tolbert; his children, Ashley Tolbert Harrison, Lauren Tolbert Mitchell, David A. Tolbert and James Tolbert; and his brother John Torry Tolbert, Jr..
