He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Kirkland Barnes and Cratus Barnes; and his daughter Beth Barnes Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Norma Barnes; his daughter Laura Pakula (Louis); his sister Dianne Starr; his grandchildren, Rebekah Hartley, Gordon Beasley, Frank Pakula and Elizabeth Pakula; and his great grandchildren, Harrison Hartley and Reed Hartley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (202 McDaniel St, Monroe, GA 30655). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
