He is survived by: his wife Ann Scarbrough of Monroe; his daughter Elizabeth Rogerson of Windermere, FL; his son-in-law Ian Rogerson of Windermere, FL; his son Charles Scarbrough of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Ryan Youngson of Fort Campbell, KY, Lauren Van Exel of Windermere, FL, Olivia Van Exel of Windermere, FL and Colin Van Exel of Windermere, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Ct.
